  • 1 Night Accommodation

  • Knowledgeable Tour Leader

ITINERARY:

08:00

Depart on private coach from London to Bath

10:00

On route to the historic city of Bath we will visit Stonehenge. This prehistoric monument, believed to have been built in 3000 BC, is one of the most famous landmarks in the UK. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986

13:00

Arrive in Bath, which itself is one of only 3 cities in the world to be protected as a world heritage site (along with Venice and The Vatican)

There is the option to participate in a volunteering project with the local community. Often this involves conservation work in one of Britains iconic parks or wildlife reserves. Projects last approximately 2 hours and you are free to leave at any time

  • This option is popular with students travelling on their own as it's a good oppertunity to meet and bond with other students from your own university or other universities in London

However you may be keen to start exploring the city itself in which case your Tour Leader can give you advice on the best things to see and do.

Saturday Evening

The Tour Leader will host a dinner at a popular resturaunt in Bath for anyone that wants to attend. However we find many students enjoy doing their own thing in smaller groups or going out to sample the night life.

Sunday

Explore the city and the attractions Bath has to offer. Some ideas are listed below and your Tour Leader will have other suggestions.

17:00

Return journey to London. Approximately 2.5 hours
